Christ-Centered

“Let the children come to Me,” Jesus said. “And he took them in His arms and blessed them.” (Mark 10:14,16) Through our mission, we will work to provide quality care with a focus on providing a Christ-centered education to families who have entrusted the care of their children to the staff within the Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Community. The daily schedule for the children in care will include learning about what it means to be a child of God and praising Him through developmentally appropriate activities.

Family- Focused

Family is the primary influence in a child’s life. We are committed to working collaboratively with the parents and children we serve. Meeting the needs of the total child (spiritual, physical, emotional, educational) requires ministering to the child’s entire family. Through consistent communication and developing strong partnership with our families, we aim to ensure families feel supported and valued as part of our Childhood Community.

Community-Based

The Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Community is open to all members of our community and is viewed as a ministry of Christ Lutheran Church. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. The opportunity of extending the good news and salvation of Christ through quality early childhood care is the next step to ensuring our children are equipped with the values, knowledge and attitudes to develop their Christian faith and apply it to their daily lives. It is our goal to develop strong relationships with the children and their families, and work together to spread God’s love within our Childcare community and to the mission field beyond our doors.
